I started out on an AAT accountancy apprenticeship around 13 years ago, for an industry leading manufacturing business. This fast-paced environment gave me a solid foundation to start my career from whilst passing my AAT qualification, before moving over to a Tech SaaS start-up where I worked for 6 years. This sector was vastly different to manufacturing, so enabled me to gain further experience across multiple aspects of project reporting which I can now carry through to my role at Harrison Carloss, where I joined in September 2025 as Finance Lead.
Over the past 13 years I’ve been given the chance to mentor & manage junior finance staff. Whether it be helping them pass the same exams I started out doing, or being their line manager in the office, it’s been great to try and help in any way that supports them move forward in their roles whilst learning new things about myself, too.
At Harrison Carloss I handle everything from day to day expenses and invoice management, to bigger picture reporting and planning to help the business maximise efficiency and profitability.
In February 2025 my girlfriend and I bought our first house together which needs a complete refurb, so in between work and the gym & visiting different pubs for good pub grub, this is what occupies most of our time!
