Creative and digital agency Harrison Carloss has announced a new partnership with leading hospitality technology provider Tevalis, to serve up an intelligent and automated SaaS solution that supports compliance with proposed allergen law changes.
allergen.io by Harrison Carloss integrates seamlessly with the Tevalis stock system to automatically generate a dynamic, fully branded, and customisable allergen menu. Customers can access this menu instantly via a QR code in-venue or through a shareable web link, removing the need for guests to request allergy information from staff.
It can also be downloaded by staff as an app, which can function on any smart device, such as a tablet. Allowing for additional safety checks and providing to customers who don’t have a working smart device.
Helping hospitality venues comply with future legislation
The innovation directly supports the existing Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidance. It aligns with ongoing campaigns from charities such as Owen’s Law and The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation to make these recommendations mandatory. The goal is to deliver clearer, more accessible, and consistent allergy information within hospitality to prevent avoidable anaphylaxis incidents after eating out.
By automating allergen data directly from a restaurant’s existing stock system, allergen.io reduces the risk of error, ensures compliance, and empowers guests with the transparency they need to make safe and informed dining choices.
