



The Mum Club (TMC) was founded by Jess Lawes and Lauren Webber who both had their own kids and didn’t want to lose themselves as women. They wanted to create a space where women (who happen to be mothers) could socialise with other women and build a support network by attending events together.
Jess and Lauren developed a franchise where women across the UK could purchase and then run their own TMC. The events range from walking clubs, brunch clubs, yoga clubs, and more.
In addition to the events, TMC also pushed out free content in the form of a newsletter and blog, all of which was accessible online.
The Mum Club’s old website was limiting their growth. It was a content based website with a CRM and wouldn’t be able to accommodate for the subscription model they were looking to adopt.
In addition to their site being restrictive, the site didn’t meet modern development standards and it was time consuming and difficult to fix even simple bugs.
The main issue was the events side of the website which caused multiple issues for TMC franchisee’s and HQ.
It was becoming very time consuming having to keep dealing with these issues and there was lots of admin involved. Jess and Lauren knew they needed a new website and began their search for a creative and digital partner to help them achieve their vision.
We developed an innovative and custom-built system to serve as a future-proof and scalable asset for The Mum Club, setting them up for further international expansions. The new system helps The Mum Club by:

The Mum Club’s new system is heavily integrated with Stripe to support global scalability, multi-currency payments and provide a secure and trusted payment provider for over 80 franchisees.
The new TMC platform is now a powerful digital engine driving a rapidly growing brand.
