Once upon a time I could draw and wasted a few years at art school before becoming a designer in a London agency where the creative head liked my headlines and gave me a job as a copywriter with my own typewriter, so that’s how long ago it was.
I’ve worked on every kind of account you can think of in every kind of medium. Won awards and helped other people win them. That said, I believe that words are encapsulated ideas meant to enlighten us as conscious beings rather than enrich us as physical ones.
Mountain biking is one of my favourite things. Music’s another, from Bach to 30s dance bands to Thelonious Monk to Hiromi. Tomb Raider. The philosophy of consciousness. Reading all kinds of science. Writing about metaphysical ideas. Peace and quiet. These are all aspects of me.
