Red House

Based in Staffordshire, the Parogon Group run a number of iconic pub restaurants in the surrounding area. We started working with Parogon before the opening of their newest restaurant, The Red House at Lilleshall. They set out to offer a ‘smart yet relaxed dining experience where you can enjoy sumptuous cuisine in a uniquely modern environment receiving friendly and attentive service.

The Red House is the seventh acquisition by the Parogon Pub Group who carefully select individual and iconic landmarks for their pub venues with the objective to provide high quality restaurants for local and surrounding communities to visit, enjoy and receive exceptional customer service.


They were unhappy with the style of their existing websites which were outdated, rigid and lacked modern capabilities; the booking widget was unreliable and overall the site was poorly mobile integrated – not a good situation when more and more traffic comes from mobile devices.

We wanted to achieve a modern website which more accurately reflected the feel of their establishments. Relaxed, welcoming but with a touch of luxury – we were tasked with encompassing The Red House experience in a website. We looked to create a new fully automated booking system by directly linking into the Quadranet booking interface to streamline the booking experience between the site and the restaurant with cross-selling capabilities.

In addition, we wanted to create a dynamic menu system to make the dining experience for those with allergies easier and more enjoyable. To save the inconvenience of multiple printed menus when dining at the restaurant, we looked to collate the menu on a tablet which could then be filtered by allergens if required.


In anticipation of The Red House’s opening night on the 10th September, the website was launched on 30th August and announced on their social media to much excitement.

In the first week of the website being live, the site saw 6,622 sessions – up until the opening, this number had risen to 10,183. The new booking system made light work of the high number of requests coming through the site. The client was extremely happy with the website.

Harrison Carloss did a great job building the website for our new restaurant. So much so that all of our other restaurant websites will be getting transformed by them. They were very easy to work with and were extremely professional. We are looking forward to working them more in the future and couldn’t recommend them enough.
